Hello! Today’s card features the Four Bends stencil from A Colorful Life Designs which I used with a really cool foil. I also used an unusual color combination that I am totally loving.

So the color combo was inspired by the roll-off print that was used for the background. It’s got shades of turquoise, some dirty yellows that appear green in some spots, and touches of pink. It’s super grungy and I thought it was really cool. I used Therm O Web‘s Transfer Gel Duo through the Four Bends stencil. Once it dried clear (it stays tacky) I ran it through my laminating machine with the Purple Sketch Foil Transfer Sheet that’s from Therm O Web and Brutus Monroe. It’s got this rad scratchy, holographic design running through it and I love it.
My sentiment is from the Simon Says Stamp and CZ Design Clean Line XL Stamp Set. I sprayed my cardstock with Salvaged Patina Distress Spray Stain and then stamped the sentiments with Monarch VersaFine Clair Ink. I don’t have the dies for this set, so I freehand cut the “boom.” I inked my card base with Golden Meadow VersaFine Clair Ink. It went so well with the dirty yellows I had in my background. I added some Crystal Metallic Splash Card Bling too.
I really love these colors together. And that stencil used in combination with that foil is super dynamic. I think this would be a fun card for a graduate, when you don’t really want to use the traditional cap imagery.
