Greetings! I have a new House Mouse card to share today, using the We Heart You stamp from Spellbinders. The little mice chewed up their lollypops to give you a special message.

To color this sweet little scene, I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens after I stamped it with VersaFine Clair Ink in Nocturne on Smooth Bristol Cardstock from Strathmore. Here’s the breakdown:
Skin: 064, 071, 072, 230
Fur: 099, 903, 905. 907, 908, 909. 062, 064, 065.
Heart: 029, 260, 024, 026
“I:” 051, 052, 050
“U:” 083, 084, 806
Sticks: 036
Ground: 075, 401
Sky: Kuretake Gansai Tambi #67
As often is the case with House Mouse, you really don’t need to much else, if anything, to finish off your card once you’ve colored the stamped image. I wanted the red to be my focal color, so I inked the edges of my white card base with Candied Apple Distress Ink. It needed to be a bit pinker, so I added Picked Raspberry on top of that, and then it matched the lollypop perfectly.
I like that you don’t even need an additional sentiment with this stamp, though it does come with one. I also like that it’s not too busy, but still covers practically an entire A2 card front. Thank you so much for your kind words!
