Hello! It’s nice to celebrate things…even if it’s a growth spurt! I used an adorable House Mouse stamp on my card today, called This Tall, with one of it’s accompanying sentiments. It’s part of the House Mouse Everyday Collection from Spellbinders. You can get this stamp in a set with the others from the Everyday Collection, or on it’s own.

This focal stamp is quite large, so if you’re a fan of coloring, but perhaps may not want to color one of the more intense House Mouse stamps, this may be perfect for you. You really don’t need to do much more to the card once you’re done coloring.
After stamping the image with VersaFine Clair Ink in Nocturne onto Smooth Bristol Cardstock from Strathmore, I colored it all in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens. Here’s the breakdown:
Skin: 064,071, 072, 230
Little Mouse Fur: 900, 907, 908
Big Mouse Fur: 062, 064, 065
Pencil: 021, 222, 064, 076, 050, 052, 090, 091, 905, 901
Eyes: 303
Ruler: 304, 305, 306
Ground: 097, 099
After coloring, I used Twilight VersaFine Clair Ink for the sentiment, and then used an edge distresser to rip up the edges of the colored panel a bit. I mounted it on to a piece of navy colored cardstock, then added both layers to a white card base.
I think this is a great encouragement card for anyone. It’s simple and sweet, and just let’s someone know you’re rooting for them. You can check out the full House Mouse collection over at Spellbinders HERE. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
