Hello! I’ve got a fun birthday-themed House Mouse card to share with you today. The stamp set I used is called Party Streamers, and it’s part of the Everyday House Mouse collection from Spellbinders. This set has a large focal stamp and a couple of sentiment stamps.

I stamped the mouse onto Copic Friendly cardstock with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. I colored her with Copics in the following colors:
Skin: E50, E53, E33, E93
Fur: E21, E25, E29
Ribbon: B23, B24, B28
Hat: BG45, BG49, RV63, RV66, RV69
Ground: BV23, BV25, BV29
Background: RV10 plus Sweet Plum Memento Ink blended around the edges
I die cut the focal layer with Spellbinders’ A2 Mating Basics B Die Set. Since that layer takes up a good portion of the card front, I didn’t really need to do much more, but I really wanted to add a patterned paper to it. I chose one from Echo Park’s Let’s Be Mermaids paper pad. I wanted some shine, so I painted the edges of my card base with Danube Blue Fireworks! Spray from Imagine. I also stamped my sentiment with Twilight VersaFine Clair Ink.
This little mouse is really ready to party! It would be fun to color the streamers in a variety of colors, but this time I wanted them all to be the same. I may even try them with glitter markers next time. That’s it for me today. You can check out the full House Mouse collection over at Spellbinders HERE. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
