Greetings! Today I’ve got a card using a very cool mask from A Colorful Life Designs, called Connect the Dots. I was inspired my my teammate Holly, when she created THIS card. I have a similar wildflower stamp from the Hero Arts July 2023 My Monthly Hero Kit, so that was my starting point.

I made a few prints on my 6×6 Gel Press Plate using the Connect the Dots mask and Distress Oxides in Salvaged Patina, Wilted Violet, and Villainous Potion. I like how the mask is subtle in the background. I stamped the wildflowers with VersaFine Clair Ink in Monarch, and then die cut the piece with a stitched rectangular die.

My sentiment is from the Hero Arts Thinking of You Stamp and Die Cut set. I cut it out of white cardstock, inked it with Salvaged Patina Distress Ink, then applied a layer of VersaMark Ink and sprinkled Salvaged Patina Distress Embossing Glaze on top. After I heat set it, the glaze was nice and shiny. I added Salvaged Patina Distress Ink to the border of my white card base as well.

My card looks different from Holly’s, but you can definitely see where the inspiration came from. I thought her card was really cool.
