Hello! My card today features an older stencil from A Colorful Life Designs and a beautiful die set from Altenew. The stencil is called Grid Circles and the die set is called the Wild Rose 3D die set, but unfortunately, it’s not currently available from Altenew. I did find it in a shop HERE.

For my main panel, I started off with a roll-off print from a Gel Press printing session. I actually think it’s the roll-off from THIS project that I posted recently. I placed the Grid Circles on top and used a matte black embossing paste over it. The brand I used is no longer available, but Tim Holtz’s Black Opaque Paste looks very, very similar. I moved the panel off to the side to dry.
Meanwhile, I die cut the Wild Rose. I used colored cardstock for the layers, but also inked them to add depth. I used Distress Inks in Crackling Campfire, Fired Brick, Wild Honey, and Mustard Seed. The bottom layer of the the foliage is part of a Gel Press Print. My sentiment is from Tim Holtz’s Noteworthy stamp set, which I inked with Warm Breeze VersaFine Clair Ink, and then I applied Wild Honey and Mustard Seed on top, directly from the pad. I kept the card base white this time.
I love the different textures and layers of this card. The colors are so vibrant, and they really pop against the black.
