Hello! Today I have a card that has another little scene using some of the fun room dies from MFT and the new Stacked Blocks stencil from A Colorful Life Designs. Between these room dies and the pies from Spellbinders, I have a new appreciation for die cuts.

The Stacked Blocks make a great wall! It reminds me of Tetris, which is one of my all-time favorite video games. I inked the stencil with Lost Shadow Distress Ink, keeping it light in some areas and darker in others. Then I started to build my room.
I used Fundamental Furnishings, Potted Plants, Take a Seat, and the Decor and More die sets. For some of the die cuts, I used pattered paper (like the chair), some use colored cardstock, and for others I used monoprints. It came together really nicely and looks like a room I’d want to hang out in. My sentiment is from Altenew’s Beautiful Day stamp set, which I inked with Nocturne VersaFine Clair ink.
I really love this card. This room reminds me of my mom. She loves modern rooms, big plants, lots of white and grey, plus orange is her favorite color. I think she’d totally want to hang out in this room with me. Please be sure to visit A Colorful Life Designs to see the many, many stencils they have to offer.
