Hello! I have a fun 70’s inspired card to share today. It uses the funky Waterspout stencil from A Colorful Life Designs. I used lots of warm tones on it, and a couple of different ink brands.

I began by inking the stencil with Brushed Corduroy, Abandoned Coral, and Vintage Photo Distress Inks. Then I used Shady Lane, Summertime, and Golden Meadow VersaFine Clair Inks. I wanted dimension, so I used a Translucent Embossing Paste on top. I made sure to clean my stencil from any leftover ink before I applied the paste though it.
After the paste dried, I inked the cardstock with Carved Pumpkin and Crackling Campfire Distress Ink. Then I added some splatter of Crackling Campfire Distress Spray Stain. My sentiment is from A Colorful Life Designs’ Happy Thoughts stamp set, which I inked with Pinecone VersaFine Clair Ink and trimmed 2 sides with my Deckle Edge Trimmer from Tonic. I popped it up with foam squares. The edge of my card was inked with Golden Meadow VersaFine Clair Ink.
This card is really fun. I love the movement and the texture. And the colors are just groovy. Please be sure to visit A Colorful Life Designs to see the many, many stencils they have to offer.
