Hello! There is a brand new House Mouse release from Spellbinders and I am so excited for it! There are 6 new stamp sets and you’ll see me share projects with 3 of them over the next couple of weeks. Like all House Mouse stamps, these babies are just so adorable! My card today uses the Popping By stamp set. The new sets are all made with red rubber with a printed cling foam.

I love the way Ellen Jareckie, the artist behind all House Mouse, draws poppies, so I was stoked to color this up. I stamped the image with Memento Ink and colored the whole thing with Copics. Here is a list of the colors I used:
E50, E53, E33, E93, E31, E57, E59
R22, R24, R29
YG11, G24, YG17, YG67
BG01
B000
Because the stamp is so large, I really didn’t need to do much more to the card. I inked the edges of the colored image a bit with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink. I mounted a piece of light olive green cardstock to my white base, and inked the edges of that with Shabby Shutters Distress Ink. The sentiment I used is part of the Popping By stamp set.
It can be time consuming to color the detailed images from House Mouse, but it is so worth it. They come out so precious when they’re done. And again, you really don’t need to do much more to the card to finish things off. I hope you’ll check out the rest of the new House Mouse collection from Spellbinders. And I’ll have more cards to show you with them soon. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
