Hello! This month’s release from A Colorful Life Designs is mostly about coffee and tea, and my card today uses a terrific stencil that will help you make a quick card for the caffeine lovers in your life. This stencil is called Mmm Coffee, and it’s a small but mighty 3″ x 6″ stencil.

I began by inking up the stencil with Walnut Stain Distress Ink on Kraft cardstock. Then I trimmed it with my Tim Holtz Deckle Trimmer. Next, I inked the edges, directly from the Walnut Stain pad.

Next, I stamped the Coffee Bean Background from Rubbernecker on to brown cardstock with Fallen Leaves VersaFine Clair Ink. I used Clear Bark Embossing Powder from Stampendous on top to make my beans shiny and textured. I inked my card base with Antique Linen Distress Ink and mounted the 2 layers on top. Then I added some sequins from Doodles Paper Playground (sadly no longer in business) in a few spots.

This card was seriously so fast to put together. But it has quite an impact because of all of those beans and the large sentiment.
