Hello! As I mentioned yesterday, there is a new small Stampendous release that is now available through Spellbinders. My card today uses the Sweet Song stamp set and several colors of Distress Oxides. I also used a sentiment from the older Script Sayings stamp set.

I started by ink smooshing my background using Spiced Marmalade, Squeezed Lemonade, and Saltwater Taffy Distress Oxides. Then I spritzed the panel with Saltwater Taffy Distress Oxide Spray. Next, I stamped the flowers once in the two corners and the sentiment in the middle VersaFine Clair Ink in Fallen Leaves.
Next, I swiped the Oxides I mentioned earlier, plus Fired Brick, Peeled Paint, and Fossilized Amber to my glass mat and painted the floral images. For some shine, I flicked on some Fireworks! Spray in Bamboo Leaves. I cut the edges of my panel with my Tim Holtz Deckle Trimmer from Tonic. I inked the same two corners of my card base that I stamped the flowers with Peeled Paint Distress Oxide. Then I flicked on some water to get some oxidation.
Making sympathy cards is never something anyone really wants to do, but knowing it may bring a smile to someone’s face when they have suffered a loss makes the process completely worth it. I’ll be sharing another card featuring the new Stampendous release soon. Be sure to visit Spellbinders to see the wide assortment of Stampendous items they now carry. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
