What’s Percolating?

Hello! Today I am sharing a card I made for Stamp Anniething and the Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Hop. My card also has a couple of sneak peeks, as I used 2 of the never-before-seen stencils from the November Stencil Club from Stamp Anniething!

I really love the background stencil from the November Stencil Club. It’s got a retro 70’s vibe that I love, and it’s what inspired the color palette I used. I applied white stencil paste through the stencil on to white cardstock. Once it dried, I sprayed the top with Dylusions Spray in Lemon Zest, and the bottom with Distress Spray Stain in Crackling Campfire. The paste resisted the color a bit, which really enhanced the fabulous design of the stencil.

Next, I colored two images from the Coffee & Friends stamp set, which is part of the Kawaii Cuties collection. I used my Copics for them, and then cut them with the coordinating dies. I decided to make a small shaker on the card, so I grabbed the Retro Shape Shaker Die, cut the top piece out of orange cardstock and stenciled it with Aged Mahogany Distress Ink. I filled the shaker with the Sunflower Sparkle Blend from Doodles Paper Playground and sealed it with a double layer of acetate, so that you could still see my main background. I added a sentiment right on top.
