Hello! It’s time for a shaker card using the new Sunrise Snow Sparkle Blend from Doodles Paper Playground. I happened to have started coloring a stamp from Clearly Besotted some time ago, but hadn’t finished it, and I realized that what I did color, was a perfect match for this pink Blend.

The stamp set is called Christmas Line Up and it comes with a few sweet designs that are all in a line. It’s really perfect for shaker cards. Unfortunately, it’s discontinued, but there are sets similar to this one available from Lawn Fawn, and Clearly Besotted has plenty of other great stamps you can use in this fashion, if you do a little masking. I colored these mice with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens.
The Sparkle Blend has lots of pinks and whites in it, including various snowflakes and flat hexagon shaped sequins. It’s really pretty. I grabbed some patterned paper from Queen & Company’s All Bundled Up paper pad and trimmed them for my top layer and behind my shaker window. I also added a coordinating sentiment strip (from the same stamp set) under the mice.
You can easily switch out the stamps I used and turn this into a card for a baby girl (if you’re into the pink/blue thing for babies), or make it for Valentine’s Day. There’s plenty of possibilities that go beyond holiday. Be sure to check out all of the awesome sequins mixes from Doodles Paper Playground over at the Sparkle Blends Shop.
