Greetings! Today I have a card that uses the new All the Stars stencil from A Colorful Life Designs. I love starry patterns so I was excited to see this design. I used it for a holiday card today, but it most certainly can be used for plenty of other occasions.

I say it often, that sometimes when I don’t have any mojo, or I’m not sure what to make, I’ll just create backgrounds. I felt like experimenting with the Fruitcake Kalediacolor Inks from Imagine, so I made a bunch of panels on my 6×6 Gel Press with these inks. I trimmed the panel down to 4 x 5 1/4. Next, after I applied Pixie Spray to my stencil to keep it from shifting, I inked it with Shady Lane VersaFine Clair ink. I applied it with a cosmetic sponge and it went on beautifully. The color is a beautiful green, but I wanted some sparkle…no…a lot of sparkle. SO I grabbed a kaleidoscope glitter embossing powder and sprinkled it on to the panel. After I heat embossed it, the Shady Lane was much darker than before, but it had loads of sparkle, so I was happy with it.
I grabbed some coordinating cardstock scraps and used a retired die set from Honey Bee Stamps for my sentiment. On the edge of my card base, I applied some Lilac Posies Memento Ink.
