Hello! Last week I was on the Doodles Paper Playground FB Page for a Live. We made the adorable Infinity Shaker card I’m about to show you. The main focus was sharing the technique on how to make the super shimmery background with Fireworks! Sprays from Imagine, and we even delved into some information about different types of inks. Folks said they learned a lot that night, so I hope you’ll check out the replay HERE.

I haven’t had a ton of time to play with the Fangtastic Friends and Fangtastic Friends Add-On stamps from Lawn Fawn, so I really wanted to use them during the Live. They were colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens. I won’t get into all of the details because it’s all in the replay, and it’s much more fun to watch it all happen.
I had figured before I started the Live that I would use the Vampire Bat Sparkle Blend. But while we were making the card, I felt like it really needed another color to make the shaker pop. My friend Kathi, who was watching the Live suggested a green, so I grabbed the new You’re a Mean One Sparkle Blend, and wow, was it perfect! The Vampire Bat Blend has itsy bitsy bats, larger clay bats with faces, vampire heads and little coffins. All of the green sequins you see is from the You’re a Mean One Blend.
I had so much fun making this card with the viewers, and I think the viewers learned some cool things. I hope after you watch the replay HERE, you do too! Be sure to check out all of the awesome sequins mixes from Doodles Paper Playground over at the Sparkle Blends Shop. Also, visit the Sparkle Blends Fan Club on FB for more inspiration. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
