Hello! I love science fiction. My mom is a huge sci-fi fan and got me into it at a young age. Star Wars, Star Trek, X-Files, Babylon 5, Aeon Flux….it’s a pretty long list. My project today is sci-fi themed, and if you’re like me, you’ll get a kick out of it. The new Warp Speed stencil from A Colorful Life Designs got the ideas flowing, and this is the first card I made with it. Use my code, AlFan10 to save when you shop for stencils there.

I used a really cool green glitter paste from Brutus Monroe to emboss the stencil on black cardstock. While that was drying, I colored the adorable focal stamp from Kindred Stamps (retired) with my Zig Clean Color Markers.
After I fussy cut this little fella, I attached a pop-up spiral that I made from the old Pop-Up Die set from Stampendous. I trimmed it a bit on the edge so that it wouldn’t show. My sentiment is from Lawn Fawn’s Beam Me Up stamp set. The edge of my gray card base was heat embossed with the stunning Succulent Embossing Powder from Brutus Monroe.
I love this card. It’s fun, has some movement, and those shades of shiny green are awesome. My kids are stoked to play with this stencil, and I look forward to sharing their creations with you. Please be sure to visit A Colorful Life Designs to see the hundreds of stencils that are available. There are so many amazing stencils that are unlike any you may have seen before.
