Hi there! I have a new Kawaii Cuties card to share with you today that also uses some products from the main Stamp Anniething line. It’s even interactive! I don’t usually do too many interactive cards, unless it’s a shaker.

As I looked through my collection to see what I wanted to work with, I grabbed the Coffee & Friends stamps and the Coffee Bean stencil. Then I came to the Sunshine Slimline Builder, and really wanted to use the large sunburst die. So I die cut it in white and added 2 yellow inks from Altenew’s Pocket Full of Sunshine ink cube set. I chose to put the coffee pot on the sun, but then I thought it would be fun if the sun actually spun. After I added the “coffee” stamp to every other sun ray, I put a hole in the middle.
I colored the coffee pot with Zigs, die cut it, and also die cut a circle out of Kraft cardstock. For my background, I stenciled it with Fallen Leaves VersaFine Clair Ink and then heat embossed it with Clear Bark powder from Stampendous. I had also pulled out Annie’s Alphabet and die cut that with Kraft cardstock too. I outlined the edges with a white pen to help the letters stand out. I used a small brad to attach the sun to the background layer and then adhered the coffee pot and circle with foam squares. The background was raised up with craft foam. Now the sun and the coffee spin! I added some more of Altenew’s yellow ink to the card base, and called it done.
I think this came out really cute, and I love the surprise of the spinning sun. I think I’m going to have a cup of coffee now…how about you? Be sure to check out the full line of Kawaii Cuties over at the Stamp Anniething shop. I encourage you to join the Stamp Anniething Stampers group on Facebook too. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
