Hello! I have wanted a good house stencil for a while, and A Colorful Life Designs just came out with the perfect one! This is called Row of Houses, and on one stencil, you have the shapes of the houses on one side, and the windows on the other. It’s so much fun to work with that I’ve already made 2 cards with it. This is the first one.

I wanted to create a rainbow of houses, so this required a bunch of masking, but the end result is so worth it. The houses themselves were done with Distress Inks, and the rooves and windows were done with Altenew Crisp Dye Inks. From left to right, I used Festive Berries, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, Broken China, Villainous Potion, and Picked Raspberry. I kept the ink heavier on the left side of the houses.
To give the card even more rainbows, I pulled out one of the Stamp Anniething papers from the Bake Shop collection. I thought it looked really cute with the houses. I mounted those 2 layers on to black cardstock and then I also inked my white card base with black ink.
I think this is a great card to welcome a new neighbor, to send to someone you miss, you as a good luck card for someone that is moving. These houses are so sweet, and I look forward to showing you the other card I made with this Row of Houses stencil.
