Hello! One of the newest Sparkle Blends from Doodles Paper Playground is called, “By Any Other Name” and it alludes to the old phrase about roses. I pulled out the older Vintage Roses stamps and dies from Altenew and built my shaker design around them.

I used a few VersaColor Inks from Imagine for the roses, plus some Memento Inks for the foliage. After I die cut them, I decided I wanted a circular window for my shaker. To make the card a bit more funky, I grabbed an old embossing folder and pressed Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide into it. Then I ran the folder through my die cut machine with Kraft cardstock. The result is cool texture with subtle color.
This new Sparkle Blend has lots of pinks and deep greens. There are even little clay roses in it. I could have easily used more of the Blend in my window, but truthfully, I needed to save some for the sneak peek FB Live, so instead I “bulked” up the Blend with some green glitter shavings from my stash. The color matched the foliage perfectly. On my card base, I monoprinted it with my Gel Press Plate and a couple of pink Distress Oxides.
I decided to not add a sentiment. Rather, I’ll add it when I know who I am sending it to. This card can be used for a lot of things, so I would rather wait on a sentiment.
