Hello! I was really excited to see the new “Be Mine” Sparkle Blend from Doodles Paper Playground. The color combo is totally unique and fun, and totally does not have to be used only for Valentine’s Day. I’ve mentioned how Valentine’s Day isn’t really my thing, but this card is fun and definitely more my style for that holiday.

I’ve had the How You Bean stamps, dies and shaker add-on dies from Lawn Fawn forever, and I love them. I also have the Conversation Heart Add On Stamps, which is what I used in my jar. I colored the jar and hearts with Copics, and used some skinny foam to build my shaker. The acetate is from Doodles Paper Playground, which you can find HERE. For my background, I used the Love Strands stencil from A Colorful Life Designs (I have been using that stencil a LOT….crazy for someone who isn’t really into hearts!) with a Glitter Glaze from Brutus Monroe on peach cardstock. After it dried, I inked the edges with Abandoned Coral and Carved Pumpkin Distress Inks. My card base was inked up with Pretty Petunia VersaMagic ink from Imagine.
Look at this pretty Sparkle Blend! Be Mine is has a lot of fun elements, just like all of the other Blends, I think the teeny conversation hearts are so cute! And as I mentioned earlier, I really love the unique color combination.
I don’t think you need to use this card only for Valentine’s Day. It can definitely be used for other things. You can even choose to take out the little hearts in the Sparkle Blend and use them at another time. It’s just a fun card, with great colors.
