Hello! It’s safe to say I am totally enamored by the “Love You Bunches” stamps and outline dies from the Kawaii Cuties collection by Stamp Anniething. I have so many ideas for how to use them.

Today, I wanted to just focus on the strawberry. I stamped it twice and colored them with my Zigs before I die cut them. I decided to use one of the new patterned papers from the Retro Kitchen Paper Pad, which I cut at an angle with a zig-zag border die from Stampendous’ Slimline Deckle Die Set. I used the same die on a piece of black cardstock to ground the plaid paper.
I have a tough time with a lot of white space, so I opted to ink the edges of my card base with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink. It brings your eye in to the card and gives it a bit more interest. I stamped my sentiment at an angle with VersaFine Clair Ink in Nocturne.
Sometimes working with small images on a card can be tough, because you need to figure out how to fill the space. Using some patterned paper at an angle can eat up a big piece of the card front, while keeping things visually interesting because your elements are at a diagonal. So you get to use up some of that patterned paper and make a card that looks cool and doesn’t take long to create. That’s a win in my book. Using this same format to make a set of cards using the “Love You Bunches” stamp set would make a great gift. Be sure to check out the full line of Kawaii Cuties over at the Stamp Anniething shop. I encourage you to join the Stamp Anniething Stampers group on Facebook too. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
