Hello! It’s Day 1 of the 1st Quarter sneak peek Kawaii Cuties release from Stamp Anniething. Today, we’re featuring the Love Bug stamps and outline dies. I saw the snail in this set, and I knew I had to use it. All of the new products will be available for purchase starting on Sunday, January 16, 2022.

I really wanted to have 2 snails facing each other, but there’s only 1 snail in the set (facing the left). So I took out my Mirror Stamping Plate and stamped the snail on that, which I then used to stamp on a piece of Smooth Bristol Cardstock. I colored the snails with Zig Clean Color Markers and used the outline dies to cut them out. I did have to go over the “backwards” snail with a PITT pen to darken the outline. You lose some ink when transferring it from the Mirror Stamping Plate.
I die cut a heart using one of the new Bake Shop papers from Stamp Anniething (ooh! and extra sneak peek for you!) and I also a piece of one of the polka dot papers from the same collection. I adhered the snails, heart, and sentiment (isn’t it great?) to a piece of cardstock I had watercolored who-knows-when. Then I mounted that on to the polka-dot paper, and then my card base.
It’s a pretty simple card that uses some patterned paper, which always makes me happy. Wait until you see the rest of the cute bugs and sentiments in the Love Bug stamp set. They are so adorable. Please head over to the Kawaii Cuties page in the Stamp Anniething shop, and the Stamp Anniething FB Group to see more wonderful creations. I’ll have another sneak peek tomorrow for Day 2. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
