Hello! I have a shaker card to share with you today that uses the “Snow Pals” Sparkle Blend from Doodles Paper Playground. This card has a ton of texture, thanks to a 3D Embossing Folder.

I started off by coloring (with Zigs) and cutting this sweet snowman and pals from Stampendous’ “Giving Snowmen” stamp set. Then, I chose a die from Stampendous’ Build a Wreath Die Set and cut my window. I used the snowman as a guide to where I wanted the window to be. Next, with the Tim Holtz Kaleidoscope 3D Embossing Folder, I ran that piece through my die cut machine. It created such a gorgeous texture with only one pass. I liked the texture so much, I embossed a smaller piece which would become the backing for my shaker window.
In the photo above, you can see the adorable little snow folks that are in the “Snow Pals” Sparkle Blend. I love the different white sequins, mixed with gray and red. It’s cool and fun. For my sentiment, I used a really old die set from QuicKutz with red cardstock to spell out, “joy.” I mounted everything on to a white card base, which I actually kept completely white for once.
Even though there isn’t a lot of color on this card, I think it really pops. That 3D Embossing folder reminds me of snowflakes, and those punches of red are so pretty. This card looks like it took a lot of time but it really didn’t. The coloring was quick, and the shaker came together fast.
