Greetings! It’s almost my favorite month of the year, so I really wanted to share a Halloween card I made using 3 of the new Kawaii Cuties stamp and outline dies from Stamp Anniething. What’s great about this collection is that everything is sized to work together, across all of the sets, so it’s really simple to combine them to make a fantastic project.
I really love the snow globe from “Shaken Not Stirred“, and that grim reaper from “Too Cute to Spook” is too adorable to be scary. I combined them with the tombstones from the “Haunted Homestead” to make one fun little scene.
I referenced Alberto Gava’s Instagram feed to see how he colors snow globes. He is a MASTER with Copics. I struggle with getting a “glass” look with Copics. My globe is still colored differently from the way he does, them, but looking at his art for reference was so helpful.
I used some pinstriped patterned paper from Waffle Flower, plus a few sequins from Doodles Paper Playground to finish off the card. I left a lot of empty space, which is unusual for me, but I really wanted that snow globe to take all the glory.
I am having so much fun with the Kawaii Cuties from Stamp Anniething. I will be sharing new Kawaii projects every Wednesday, so I hope you’ll come back to see them. I’ll have a card for White Rose Crafts to show you tomorrow. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a creep-tastic day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
