Hello! Yesterday I did a FB Live for Sassy & Crafty (check it out HERE) and as per usual, things wound up getting changed from what I had originally envisioned. But in a good way! I try not to have to much of a concrete plan, so that I can allow for viewer ideas, mistakes, and impromptu creating. This works out in my favor often because I have the challenge of thinking on my feet. I planned on making one card with the Phases Stencil set and the Magic Within stamp set. These are two of my favorite things that Sassy & Crafty has ever released. Anyway, I wound up not liking the way my background looked with my colored image. It was just too much, and a bit confusing to the eye. So we switched gears and I decided to instead create two cards. Here’s the first one.

This baby glows in the dark, thanks to Chroma Glaze from Brutus Monroe. We did the Molten Metal Technique on this background. Check out how rad it looks when it’s glowing.
If you have embossing paste and mica powder, you need to try out this technique. You can watch exactly how to do it in the FB Live.
It’s sooooo shimmery in real life. The Phases Stencil Pack is so fabulous because there are a ton of different options for creating moons as backgrounds and focal points.
So what happened to my colored image? I’ll share that in a separate blog post soon. For now, I hope you’ll check out the FB Live and learn how to recreate this yourself. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
