Hello! I have a brand new Sassy Girl from Sassy and Crafty to share with you today! She’s from the new Sassy Girls- Fly stamp set, and I think she’s rad.

This Sassy Girl immediately reminded me of the WWII days, and also the Steampunk style. I can see projects being made with both of those vibes easily. I went for more of a WWII era feel. I colored her with Copics, and I loved the idea of giving her an olive green jacket.
The patch on her jacket immediately gave me “Geometric Nature” stencil vibes, from Sassy and Crafty’s April release, so I applied that to brown cardstock with Nuvo Glacier Paste in “Green Envy.” I love how shimmery and intricate that background became by using only one stencil. Be sure to use Pixie Spray with this stencil! My sentiment was stamped on white paper, but I dulled it down with Copics. I mounted everything on to an ivory card base, as white would have been too stark.
This card is pretty simple…one focal stamp, a sentiment strip, and a stencil. But, it has a lot of impact. I love how cool and strong this gal is, and I look forward to making her more steampunk. There is another Sassy Girl in this stamp set, but you’ll have to wait until tonight to see the full set, when the release goes live. Be sure to head over to Sassy and Crafty on FB, and their shop to see the full release. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
