Greetings! I’ve got a fun card that uses a couple of Gel Press prints, a new stencil, and a funky carrot stamp from AALL & Create. Most of my supplies are from White Rose Crafts. The shop is temporarily closed for cyber renovations, and will reopen in September.
The main Gel Press print that I used on this card was made with fluid acrylic paints. I thought it was an interesting print, but needed something more, so it was the perfect place for this fantastic carrot stamp to be. It’s from AALL & Create’s Basic Veggies stamp set. This is a big set, with many wonderful images to work with. You’ll be seeing me use this set a lot. I stamped the image with black ink and then added some additional coloring with Copics. Not much….some green for the leaves, a little bit of a deeper orange to help the carrots stand out. The print did most of the work for me.
I decided to pull out the turquoise that’s in the print by using a new stencil from Ciao Bella (wait until the White Rose Crafts shop reopens….you are going to LOVE these stencils!) with Salvaged Patina Distress Ink. It really helps those cooler tones pop. I also grabbed a small strip of an older print I had made during one of my FB Lives. It’s got similar colors to the main print, but some textural differences keep it interesting.
I really love this card. Having a bunch of prints on hand makes it quick to throw card together. The AALL & Create stamps have so many cool things happening on them that you don’t really need to work hard to get a fantastic piece. I hope you’ll check out all of the amazing new products that will be in the White Rose Crafts shop when it reopens in September. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
