Hello! Today I am sharing a card that I made using the Ribbon Star stencil from The Rabbit Hole Designs. This is a beautiful new stencil that just made it’s debut this week, and I am so happy to share a second project with it.
As soon as I saw this stencil, I knew I needed to use it with lots of different foils. I really love how it looks with this holographic foil from Therm O Web. The stencil is a 6″ x 6,” but I only foiled a thin panel.
Look at those beautiful flashes of color! Along with the Ribbon Star Stencil, I also used a sentiment and the adorable cow from the new Space- Infinity and Beyond stamp set. I embossed both with a detail silver embossing powder.
Since my foiled panel is skinny, I decided to add some cool metallic washi tape from Queen & Co. It was just the right size for the empty space (Ha! See what I did there?) on the right side of my card.
This is a pretty clean and simple card for me, but I think the foiled stencil speaks loudly enough. I really love this new stencil, and I look forward to experimenting further with it. Please be sure to visit The Rabbit Hole Designs to see the latest new release and all of their other fun products! Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!

Beautiful! What medium did you use with the stencil to make the foil adhere?

Hello and thanks for your comment! I used Therm O Web’s Transfer Gel Duo. You apply the paste through the stencil, then let it dry, and apply the foil via a laminator or an embossing machine. Hope that helps!
