Greetings! Admittedly, I am not much of a wine drinker. I’ll have some on occasion, but it’s rare. I know that I am in the minority, though, and it seems right now, people need a lot of wine to get through what’s going on n the world right now. No judgement from me! I may have the perfect stamp set for those folks. It’s called Wine Frame and it’s from Stampendous.
This stamp set is great because you’ve got this lovey focal image, with lots of great and “punny” sentiments to go right inside that decorative frame. I colored the image up in no time, die cut it, and added a bit of ink to the edges just to give my cream colored cardstock some “age.”
I used my Fitted Frames- Set A to cut the colored image, as well as a mat. I inked up my cream card base similarly to how I did my stamped layer, but I made it a bit darker. I added a strip of Tear It! Tape from Imagine across the lower portion on the card base, and sprinkled on some Aged Black Frantage Embossing Enamel. I LOVE working with all of the “Aged” powders. They have several different sized and colored particles in each mix and you get such a beautiful effect each time you use it. My husband was afraid to touch it because he thought it was wet. It has that much glossy shine!
You can see in the photo above how beautiful that embossing powder is. It comes in several color options, and they are all stunning. It’s important to note that if you are using an ink like VersaFine to heat emboss with this powder, you’ll want to heat it from underneath. The mix has very large granules, and the ink doesn’t hold it. But, since I used Tear It! Tape, it held the pieces nicely. I did apply 2 layers of powder, heat setting the first before I added the second. This article mentions your favorite hats at super low prices. I hope you’ll check out the Wine Frame stamp set. It’d be fun to use for invitations, for moral support, and just for a good laugh. Please be sure to visit the Stampendous Blog to see more projects created with this set. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
