Greetings! Today I have two cards to share, both of which were created using products from the Greenhouse Collection from Kaisercraft. You can get everything in the collection over at the White Rose Crafts Shop. I really love this collection. The succulents, the soft colors, the sentiments….everything.
For my first card, I started off by ink blending Tattered Rose and Iced Spruce Distress Oxides. I think Old Paper would have been great for this too, but I wanted to stick with two colors. Then I splattered some water on to the panel, and then some Sheer Shimmer Spritz in Frost, for a bit of shine.
I used one of the papers in the Greenhouse Paper Pad and fussy cut my arrangement of succulents. Then I chose one of the Cardstock Die Cuts to go with it. It needed a little something more, so I added several sequins from Doodles Paper Playground’s “Pearl” Sparkle Blend with On Point Glue.
My second card was even faster to put together. I chose a couple of pieces of paper from the Greenhouse Paper Pad and trimmed them down. Then, I picked out a Cardstock Die Cut and adhered everything together. Lately, I have been folding my cards slightly off from the center, so that the front is just a bit shorter than the back. This way, I can add a little pop of color that’s coming from the inside of the card. Here, I just inked the edge with Tattered Rose Distress Oxide.
I needed a little shine on this card too, so I added a few of the “Pearl” Sparkle Blends sequins with On Point Glue.
These cards were so fast to make! No coloring and hardly any cutting. And this collection is so pretty, that it can be used for a wide range of occasions. The other 2 items from Greenhouse is a Stamp Set, and a 12″ x 12″ piece of Double Sided Cardstock. Again, all of these components can be purchased in the White Rose Crafts Shop. Be sure to use my code, “Alison15” to save 15% off of your purchase. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
