Hello! The White Rose Crafts team has been sharing projects using products from Wild Rose Studio. They have a few dragons that I think are absolutely adorable, so I decided to work with the one called, “Dragon and Bird.”
I colored the stamped image with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens and loosely fussy cut it out. Because of the shape of the image, I decided that a round shaker would look great behind it. I opted to use the “Peacock Pizzazz” Sparkle Blend because it has many of the colors I used on my image in it. Behind the shaker, I used a scrap that I had used alcohol and salt ink on.
I think that the dragons stamps from Wild Rose Studio are so sweet. I may need to add the rest to my collection!
In the photo above, you can really see all of the pretty jewel tones in this particular Sparkle Blend. I added a few sequins to the outside of my card too, but kept it fairly clean ans simple. I added a sentiment from Lawn Fawn’s Reveal Wheel Sentiments by heat embossing the words in white, and then inking the strip up with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink. I also inked up the border of my card base with the same ink.
I really like the sweetness of this card. The dragon and bird seem to be good friends, and I love that. I encourage you to take a look at all of the lovely stamps and papers that Wild Rose Studios has to offer. You can check out the selection at White Rose Crafts, and use my discount code, “Alison 15” to save 15% off of your purchase. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
