Hello! Today I am sharing a card that I created using Fairy Dust Sparkle Blends. I decided to not go with a shaker card this time around, but to rather just apply the beautiful, opalescent sequins directly to my card front.
I thought that this particular Sparkle Blend would work really well with the Dragonfly Lily stamp from Stampendous. I decided to use the Spotlight Technique for coloring this stamp, so that there would be some focus exactly where I want it, but the Sparkle Blends would shine and be the focus elsewhere on the card. The image was colored with Tombow Dual Brush markers. Then I die cut it with a Fitted Frame from Stampendous.
I applied the sequins I liked for this card with Imagine’s On Point Glue. It holds the sequins so well. I decided to do a bit more to my card base, so I inked the edges with Opera Pink VersaColor Ink and then applied 2 layers of Stampendous’ Chunky Clear Embossing Powder. I purposefully didn’t got for a smooth texture with the melted powder. Instead, I wanted it to look like water droplets.
There’s something I really love about doing the Spotlight Technique. And I really love how the Fairy Dust Sparkle Blend makes the image seem magical. I can’t wait to show you more with the Sparkle Blends! Remember, you can only get them at White Rose Crafts LLC, and each blend is a Limited Edition. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
