Butterfly and Hibsicus Skull

Uncategorized

7 Dec

Hello! There’s a lot of holiday projects everywhere right now, since it’s December. But I really needed to step away from that for a moment and work with the gorgeous Butterfly and Hibiscus Skull digi from GothArte Tenebris.

I loved coloring this image. I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and a water brush. I really didn’t want to put this on a card, but instead make it a 6″ x 6″ Mini Page. Here’s a close up of the coloring.

For my background, I used the coolest spiderweb stamp ever, which is from Stampendous, and stamped it repeatedly with a couple of spiders. I thought it needed some foliage, so I used a fern stencil, also from Stampendous.

I feel better now that I took a step back from all the holiday stuff. As much as I love it, I really needed a rad skull to work on. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
