Hello! Today I have a card that was so much fun to make! And even more fun to play with! But shhhh!!!! Don’t tell my daughter! I made it for her first day of school. I used lots of Lawn Fawn to make the card, and I think she’s going to love it.

So this card doesn’t look too fancy, right? Unless of course you know just how magical Magic Color Slider Cards can be!
This is what you see when you pull up the little tab at the top of the card. Magically, the image is colored! I’m telling you, I am having a blast making these. You of course need the Magic Color Slider Die, and then you can use any stamps you want. The die set is so clever, and gives you several different fun options to help you customize your slider.
I went with the Unicorn from the Critters Ever After Set. She was colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and a touch of Wink of Stella. My sentiment is from the Believe in Yourself mini set, that comes with an adorable Jackalope. The colored image was stamped with VersaFine in Onyx Black, and the overlay piece was done with StazOn in Jet Black. I used some Star Dust Embossing Powder on the sentiment for some sparkle.
The pink cardstock is from Bazzill and the patterned paper is from Doodlebug. I used Artist’s Loft Watercolor paper for the colored in portion, as well as the slider itself.
I am entering this in the 11th Lawn Fawnatics Challenge, which is Cards for Kids. I’m making another slider card for my son, so hopefully I will have that done shortly and posted for you to check out. My daughter is going to flip when she sees this card. She loves all things unicorn, as well as Lawn Fawn. I only wish I’ll be with her at lunch when she opens it. Do you like to tuck little notes and cards into your children’s lunch too? Thank you so much for visiting today. Have an inspiring day!
