Hello! Who’s ready for some fun with Nathalie Kalbach this week? I know I am! Nathalie is an amazing artist who just so happens to have a stamp line with Stampendous. She recently came out with 3 rad sets that not only contain stamps, but a great stencil too. And they just so happen to be the prizes for this week. Take a look….
Wait until you see what these babies can do! You’re going to want all 3, and you have the chance to win them all. Just head over to the Stampendous Blog for all of the details. This contest is open to everyone, so be sure to go for it!
I used Urban Scribble for my card. Truth be told, I used it in it’s simplest way. Not a crazy amount of layers, no extra doodles…. It was my first time experimenting with these sets, so I wanted to just see what they can do. Needless to say, I now want to draw, scribble, and layer the heck out of them!
I used chalk inks from Color Box, making the most solid layer the lightest color, and working up to the darkest color with the most detailed stamp. I tried it the other way, and that just didn’t look so good. I also used the fabulous stencil that comes in the Urban Scribble set (I’ll be using this stencil all the time, I am sure!) for the sky. I topped it off with the Not All Wander stamp.
My card base was done with an embossed mini dot cardstock from My Colors. I liked how the texture went with the stenciled background. I also added a wee bit of glitter to a few of the windows. This was a fast card to make, though it looks like it may have taken some time. Nathalie’s set made it very easy. HERE is a link to Nathalie’s video on her awesome stamps. Check it out. And below is the list of blogs you can visit today. And by the way, I just added all of my social media links to the right side of my blog, near the top. Come and follow me on these various platforms to see what else I’m up to. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!

Adding to my comment that I'm from Southington, Connecticut.
I'm not quite sure I understand how this set works but looks great!!!
Hi Tami! Thanks for your comment. There's a single sided cling stamp, plus a reversible foam stamp. Plus, there's a background stencil. That's how I got 3 cityscapes plus the tiny square background. Hope that helps!
