Bombshell Sketch & Red, White and Blue with WW

Happy Wednesday! Today, I have 2 projects for you. The Bombshell Stamps May Sketch challenge as well as the latest Wicked Wednesday challenge, which is “Red, White, and Blue.” First, here’s the Bombshell project.

I used Hawiian Girl and Madonna Woodcut for my piece. It’s a 6×6 mini page. I started off with my Bombshelland palm tree, but after they were colored and I cut the circle, I had a big empty space….so I broke out my Sun from Dreamweaver Stencils. I used Distress Inks and a stencil brush and it filled the void perfectly.

My stamped images were colored with Specrtum Noir and Prismacolor markers. I would like to bbe on that beach right now.

And now…for Wicked Wednesday. This week, we are sponsored by Sweet Pea Stamps, and I used an image that my fellow DT’ers think resembled me. I had to agree with them.

This is Oleander by Rebecca Sinz. Again, our challenge this week is Red White and Blue…but I look forward to coloring this image to look more like myself.
