Happy August! It is time for the fifth Color Challenge from Friends Having Fun! Here’s what I wrote on the FHF site: Hello and welcome to the fifth Color Challenge with Friends Having Fun! The Kaleidoscope Krew have another fabulous set of colors to share with you, as well as some awesome projects to go with them! Here are the colors! When I first picked these colors, I was inspired by thoughts of Summer and vacations. Walking on the beach on a tropical island at sunset… but that’s me! What do these colors make YOU think of? I decided to go with a layout of my baby girl… I took this picture of her just a couple of weeks ago.. I was taking photos of some items for my Mom’s Etsy shop, and she jumped on the couch and started posing! How could I not take a picture (or 3) of this pretty little face? She looks so sweet here…really not at all like a baby…a little girl. I mixed up a whole bunch of patterns as usual…picking things that didn’t appear to really work together…but look pretty cool o the finished page. The plaid paper is from Daisy D’s., The owls are from K & Co., and that funky frame is from DCWV. My plain cardstocks are from Prism. A wacky combination, but I think they all look pretty cool together here! The flowers are from Prima and my letter stickers are from Basic Grey. I hope you join us this month at Friends Having Fun. I love to see all of the different ideas people have when looking at a color palate. Please stop by the rest of the Kaleidoscope Krew’s blogs to se what they’ve come up with! Alyssa couldn’t join in this month, but the rest of the Krew really made some beautiful projects! Alex ~ Danielle ~ Laura Have an inspiring day!!!
