Hello again, my Lovelies! It is time for another fabulous StampInsanity cahllenge! This week, the Groovy Gurlz are challenging you to make a bookmark…but with a little twist! You gotta add some hardware! Here’s my little piece of fun:
Say hello to Jack. He’s from one of Beth’s latest releases called What the Heart Wants. It’s really with the anticipation of Eclipse coming out (next month!!!) but I always think of New Moon when I think of Jacob. Here’s a close up.
As I most often do, Jake is colored in with colored pencils. I added a bunch of yarn for a tassel (which is held on by a big eyelet!), and I also added 3 tiny bells. When I think of Native American jewelry and decorations, there is often little charms hanging off of it… hence the bells. 
Here’s some more hardware. I added staples through the length of the bookmark and I added this funky cog that I got from my friend Kelli. Jake looks a little snarky, so I made a sentiment sayin’ “Read Dammit.” 
I used a piece of chipboard for the base of the bookmark and then I wrapped the main paper around it. I also added an extra strip of paper to the back to hide the edges of the staples. Cool bookmark. Love the sentiment, made me laugh since I haven't picked up Lover Avenged in 2 weeks. I know what your thinking, how can I not pick it up. I hate getting interrupted while I read so I only pick up the book when I can read for a couple of hours.
I used to be able to keep up with all the challenges but now I need to keep up with my DT responsibilities, lol.
