My Aunt Paula is a teacher. Her school is having a fundraiser this week and she asked if I wanted to make anything to donate to the event. I decided to give in a few scrapbooking layouts, a necklace and a set of cards. Everything was already made in my stash except for the cards. Here’s what I created: I kept it really simple, but really pretty. I used four stamps to create the centerpiece. The flowers are from a Paper Candy set and the sentiment is from Verve (which I had gotten from Tonya). I think it’s a very sweet card, and it was easy enough to duplicate quickly (while finally getting to watch the season finale of The Vampire Diaries. Holy cow! What an ending!!!). Here’s a close up so that you can see the different inks, papers and stamps I used a little better. Please click on any photo to see it bigger.
I love how this set turned out. I actually left the stamps on my acrylic block because I’m thinking I may make some more and add them to my Etsy Shop. What do you think? That’s all I’ve got for now. I’m working on a number of projects that you’ll get to see this week. Until then, have an inspiring day!
