Hello! I’ve already posted a couple of cards using the new This is Life Collection from Spellbinders, and I have another one to share today. This card uses the Favorite Side Effect Stamp & Die Set and it is just as snarky as the other sets in the collection.

I die cut the pills and bottles first using mostly Spellbinders cardstock. I searched my stash for a good background paper for them and came across this old one that almost looks like lots of pills. I thought it was perfect, especially because of it’s neutral color. I die cut the postage frame from the Spellbinders Large Die of the Month and then inked it with Cashmere Ink from Catherine Pooler.

I used the square die that comes in the Large Die of the Month to cut the patterned paper for my background, then I cut a “ground” freehand. I inked my card base with more Cashmere Ink and then I adhered everything together. My sentiment was added with no additional inking.

I cannot express how much these sets make me smile. I love that the sentiments in these sets really hit home, and have so much humor. I’ll be sharing more with them soon. In the meantime, please visit Spellbinders to see all of the latest collections, including This is Life. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
