Greetings! If you watched my Craftoween Series on YouTube, you know I made an extra mug for Day 8 so that I can make a card. I thought it was so great, and I had the perfect stencil to use with it. The Sistahhhs! Stencil from A Colorful Life Designs has a number of spooktacular sentiments on it, and I used one of them here.

I had my Day 8 die set cut and assembled, and I left out some of the accessories. To make my background, I started by ink smooshing Antique Linen Distress Oxide onto my card panel. Then I stenciled on my sentiment and added extra ink around the edges with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. Next, I added some splatters and drips with Diet Cola Memories Mist.

Next, I decided to add some spider webs. I used the web from the August Card Kit of the Month from Hero Arts. I stamped it with Pinecone VersaFine Clair Ink. I also added some Antique Linen Distress Ink (not the Oxide) to my white card base.

This definitely does not have to be a Halloween card. You can omit the ghost, bat, and webs (though I don’t know why you would! Lol) to make this work year-round. I think it came out great!
