Greetings! It’s Tuesday, so I have my weekly #TillDeathDoUsCraft project to share with you. I can’t believe it’s the last Tuesday of the month! All 7 of us that have been posting this month over on Instagram will share a final project on Halloween. For the full list of creators, please check out the list at the bottom of this post.
I really love to use the Wreath Builder from Gina K Designs for cards way beyond wreaths. I decided to use this cool vampire from Inkadinkado and a bat from Stampendous to create my “wreath” on Kraft cardstock. I heat embossed everything with detail black embossing powder. Then, I colored in the vampires with colored pencils.
I needed a sentiment in the middle, so I used an older one from Stampendous, called Spooky Wishes. I heat embossed it in white on black cardstock, and popped it up with black foam squares. I love to add some fake blood to my Halloween cards, especially when there are vampires involved, so I splattered some irRESISTible Spray in Love Letter from Imagine. Seriously, if you haven’t used this stuff on your Halloween creations, you are really missing out!
I love this card. I think it has an old, nostalgic vibe to it, and it has the added creep factor of the “blood.” Have you used your Gina K Wreath Builder this way, or have you stuck to traditional wreaths?
