Greetings! This month’s My Monthly Hero and My Monthly Super Hero Kits from Hero Arts is called Joly Holiday, and they’re packed with lots of fun products that have a touch of whimsy to them. I’m sharing two cards today. One uses just the My Monthly Hero Kit and the other uses products from the larger My Monthly Super Hero Kit.

This card uses only two die sets that are in the My Monthly Hero Kit. I die cut the strand of lights 3 times, and cut three sets of bulbs using red, blue, and yellow cardstock.

I cut the sentiment from white and the same green I used for the light strands. It took a little time to get all of the pieces placed, and I was sure to use the parts I trimmed off of the edges. I love how it turned out.

This card uses products from the My Monthly Super Hero, which contains everything in the regular kit, plus a lot more. I started by die cutting the Ho Ho Ho Cover Plate Die out of red cardstock. I adhered it to a white panel and added the negative space from the o’s in.

Next I die cut the jolly out of the same red and white cardstocks. I needed it to stand out more, so I cut a band of vellum, wrapped it around my panel, and adhered it. Then I used Claret StazOn for my sub sentiment, and added a few Satin Matte White Card Bling from A Colorful Life Designs.

It took some time to adhere all of the tiny bits on both of these cards, but it was relaxing to do, and I enjoyed it. I think these cards are really fun! Please visit Hero Arts to see all of the latest releases and to get all of the info on both of the My Monthly Hero Kits. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
