Say It Inside and Out: 2 Cards

Hello! One of the new releases this month from Hero Arts are some fun sentiment sets. The collection is called Say It with Style, and today I’m using the Say It Inside and Out Stamp & Cut. I’m sharing two cards today, because there are just so many things to show you this month, I can’t do them all in only 31 days!

Let’s start with the card that features Chompster from Spellbinders.

I made Chompster from some fun patterned paper and used the One More Bite Die Set to make the cake and the braces. The hat came from Just Add Cake Birthday Box that Chompster comes in.

I used some more patterned paper for the background, as well as for my sentiment, which was stamped with Twilight VersaFine Clair Ink. I inked the edges of the card base with a layer of Kitsch Flamingo Distress Ink, then a layer of Antique Linen Distress Ink to tone it down a bit.

I think this sentiment works perfectly with Chompster, and I bet you’ve got plenty of things in your stash that also work with this fun sentiment. Now let’s look at my second card.

Guys, I did a one layer card. Like a real one layer card! This never happens, but I really wanted to keep things simple and just focus on the sentiment.

I started with the Organic Shapes Stamp Set from Hero Arts, which is part of their Fresh Flowers Collection. I inked the shapes with Limoncello, Melon Ice, Clay Mask, Cummerbund, and Uptown inks from Catherine Pooler. Then I used my Twilight VersaFine Clair again for the sentiment.

It’s a really simple card, but it’s got a really important message. The Say It With Style Collection is a great addition to what you’ve already got in your stash.
