I decided to work with the Bundled Up Winter Bear from the Christmas Blush Collection by Frank Garcia and Spellbinders. This bear has total vintage vibes, and there are many ways you can customize the outfit. Not just in colors, but accessories too. There are a lot of parts to this die set (as with the rest of the collection as well), but it is so worth it to get this precious bear when you’re done. I added some touches of inking on the bear with residual ink on my brush, and some Antique Linen Distress Ink on her clothes.

To add more to the vintage vibes, I used the Ode to a Poet 3D Embossing Folder from Spellbinders. I used ivory cardstock and I inked the folder with Antique Linen Distress Ink before running them through my die cut machine. Then, I used my Deckle Edge Trimmer from Tonic to get that fabulous edge, which I then inked with Gathered Twigs Distress Ink. I inked my card base with Getaway Ink from Catherine Pooler, and I toned it down with more Antique Linen. My sentiment is from the September 2026 Clear Stamp & Die of the Month from Spellbinders.

Want to bring some vintage vibes to a card you’re working on? Here are a few elements to consider:
🤎soft, nostalgic images
🤎muted, warm colours, sepia tones and aged neutrals
🤎antique frames and ornate details
🤎warm metallics like gold, copper and brass
🤎layered, shabby-chic designs
🤎doilies, lace, pearls, ribbons and bows
🤎distressed or inked edges, crackle, grain or other aged textures
🤎old book pages, maps, sheet music, postage stamps and ephemera If you get inspired to create a vintage-themed card — or even CASE one of the card designs in this hop — make sure to tag the designer(s) who inspired you and use the hashtag #vintagevibescards
