Hello! I’m taking a momentary break from all the Halloweenie goodness to share a Christmas card. I’m using some of the Mugs & Kisses Collection from Spellbinders and some of their past Club Kits. The die set I used is just so cute!

I started by using the Mug Friends Die Set. It’s really fun to customize the mug and that fun little marshmallow snowman! The colors I used for the scarf and hat inspired the colors for the rest of the card.

I made my background with the Nordic Noel Embossing Folder, which was the 2D Embossing Folder of the Month for July 2025. I used it with light blue cardstock, and I inked the folder with Uncharted Mariner Distress Ink. I needed to break up the background a bit because it was a little too busy once I added the die cuts on top, so I tore a piece of vellum diagonally and adhered it to the back of the embossed layer. This not only “chilled out” the background, but it gave me a good resting place for the die cuts. My sentiment is from the Cue the Merry Stamp & Die Set, which is from the July 2026 Club Kit from Spellbinders.

This card gets me in the mood for some hot cocoa, but first, let’s get back to Halloween! Please visit Spellbinders to see all of their latest releases. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
