Hello! Get ready for some beary fun cards! Carly Tee has teamed up with Hero Arts again to add to her previously released Beary Sweet Collection that was released in March of this year. If you don’t already follow Carly, I highly recommend you start because she’s awesome and always has such wonderful ideas. This new collection is called Beary Sweet Holiday, and can stand on it’s own, but works seamlessly with the older collection. I decided to make two cards that use the Bear Hugs Die Set from the original collection, with several of the new products.

I wanted to make a licorice bear, so I cut the body out of Black Velvet Satin Mirror Cardstock from Tonic, and the accents out of a true black mirror cardstock, also from Tonic. I used the same two for my sentiment, which is from the Sweet Wishes Stamp & Cut. I wanted my gummy bear to have a Jack O’ Lantern, so I die cut those pieces from the new Bear Hugs Holiday Accessories Die Set. I then filled the bucket with a bunch of gummy worms….even though they aren’t really worms at all! From that same Accessories Die Set, there’s a gingerbread man, and this is just the icing to decorate him with!

Because of the sentiment and bear’s size, I decided to make this a 5×7 card. I used Mint Cardstock from Spellbinders for my background, and I tore off the bottom. I added my die cut sentiment, and then stamped the sub sentiment with Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink. I stretched the sub sentiment a bit to fit around the “S” better. Then, in true Carly Tee fashion, I added some hand-drawn “splatters” with a Micron Pen.

My second card has a Pumpkin Spice Latte Bear. I made this bear orange to go with the pumpkin on her latte. The coffee cup is from the Bear Hugs Holiday Accessories Die Set, just like the Jack O’ Lantern in the first card. The little pumpkin and circle is from the Candy Kebob Halloween Add-On Die Set. I did a bit of ink blending on the cup, cup sleeve, and bear to make them look more dimensional.

I added the bear to a brown panel, which and I added that to a white card base. I did additional ink blending on both of those layers as well. I added a sentiment from the Candy Wrappers Stamp & Cut and a few Opalescent Cashmere Card Bling from A Colorful Life Designs.

I am so excited to work with this collection. There are so many fun products, and I can’t wait to share more with you. Please visit Hero Arts to see all of the latest releases. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
