Hello! I have a spooktacular card today that uses not just part of the August 2026 3D Embossing Folder of the Month, but also the Small Die of the Month from Spellbinders. There are a ton of fun elements in the Small Die this month, and I really enjoyed putting it all together. I didn’t even use all of the dies!

I put together the pieces I wanted to use on this card, including those amazing candles. I just love how melty they are and their expressions! I did a bit of ink blending on them, but on none of the other die cuts. Once I figured out my placement for all of these elements, I worked on my background.
I think the 3D Embossing Folder of the Month is so cool because it has 2 distinct patterns on it, and that spider web is awesome. I applied Lost Shadow Distress Ink to the folder itself, then I applied Weathered Wood Distress Ink to the raised webs after the panel was embossed. Then I used a piece of patterned paper for the ground. It’s hard to see in the photos, but it’s a subtle repeating spider web. Then I inked and die cut my sentiment which is from this month’s Clear Stamp & Die of the Month. I popped it up with some foam tape.
