Hello! It’s time for some mid month inspiration from A Colorful Life Designs. Every month, there’s a special stencil that gets released, and it’s on sale for one week only! Plus, you can use my code, AlFan10 to save an additional 10% on it. This month’s mid month stencil is called Mid Century Minimalist, and I love it. It’s a really cool design, and I was excited to show you the first card I made with it.

I had a roll off print I made during a gel printing session that had some great colors, so I used that as my inspiration and background for this card. I stenciled the Mid Century Minimalist onto the paper with Nuvo Nephrite Nebula Glimmer Paste from Tonic. The sparkle is amazing!

On top of the stenciled panel, I added some gauze that I had inked up (you may have seen me do it in a YouTube video), along with a butterfly and sentiment from Spellbinders. The butterfly is from Rosie’s Studio Breakfast in Bed Die Cut Ephemera Pack and the sentiment is from the Holding Your Heart Sentiments Press Plate & Die Set. I inked my card base with Salvaged Patina and Crushed Olive Distress Oxides to coordinate with the roll off print.

I think this card is grungy, but pretty. The sparkle is so pretty with that stencil, and I love the bit of shine on the butterfly. This stencil is really fabulous, and i hope you get to grab it while it’s on sale. Please visit the A Colorful Life Designs website to see the thousands of available stencils.
