Hello! The My Monthly Hero Kit from Hero Arts has such fun summer vibes. There are cool dies, stamps and an amazing layering stencil that creates the most incredible water! I’ve made a clean and simple card for my first project, and at the bottom of this post, you’ll see a bonus tag I made with it. There’s even more fun goodies in the My Monthly Super Hero, but these 2 projects only use the regular kit.

I started by creating my pool on the lower third of my card base. I used Seaside Cardstock from Spellbinders as the base color. Then I used the Reflection Layering Stencils to create my water. I used Salvaged Patina, Tumbled Glass, and Peacock Feathers Distress Ink. It really looks so dimensional! Then I die cut the edge of the pool with white cardstock.

Next I die cut the small elements and put them all together. You can build them pretty quickly, and I only used a small portion of what’s in the kit. I kept the top 2/3’s of my card white, with the exception of my sentiment, which I stamped with Aquatini Ink from Catherine Pooler. I added some touches of that ink on my umbrella, plus Be Mine and It’s a Girl Inks on the pinks.

I don’t do clean and simple cards very often, but I am totally in love with this card design. I love these colors, and the vibe is everything!

Now here’s the bonus tag that I made using some of the stamps from the same set I used on my card. I created the tag with my We R Makers 3 in 1 Rounded Tag Punch. I did a bit of ink smooshing on the tag itself, and then stamped the flip flops a few times. This could be added to a card or a gift. I think it came out really cute. I can’t wait to show you more projects using the June 2026 My Monthly Hero and Super Hero Kits from Hero Arts. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
